Go Backstage with Choreographer Terrence Pride as he gives you an inside look at his life as a performing artist and a look back at his previous performances in Miami with PLGDC.
Terrence “TM” Pride is a native of north Florida and a graduate of Florida A&M University in Theatre Performance and Dance. He has choreographed over 50 pieces of work including musicals and dance recitals as well as direct and perform in plays such as Black Nativity, The Wiz, and Blues for an Alabama Sky. He has served his community as the director of the Arts program for 21st Century Fun2Learn Camp for the last four years in Gadsden County, FL. He has served as Director of Salvation Army KROC Atlanta Theatre Camp and as a member of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Ailey Camp Miami and a Teaching artist at the Florida Studio Theatre in Sarasota, FL. He taught Dance and Musical Theatre at Apalachee Tapestry Magnet School of the Arts where he directed two Disney productions, Beauty and the Beast Jr. and Aladdin Jr. Prior to this TM Pride traveled the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico teaching a series of dance workshops last hosted in Lexington, KY at the South-Eastern Theatre Conference.
