"ATLANTIC CROSSING”
The Peter London Global Dance Company presents its First International Cultural Dance Exchange to celebrate the common ground of artists everywhere in pursuit of freedom via creative expression. Our first program entitled "ATLANTIC CROSSING” will celebrate the survival of the cultural expressions of dance and music in the African Diaspora with a joint performance of PLGDC and The Company Dance Theatre (CDT) of Jamaica. This performance will take place at 4:00 p.m. on October 21, 2018 at the Miramar Cultural Center. While the program will celebrate the retention of African dance and music in the new world and that of the Caribbean, contributions of contemporary dance developed by Caribbean dance masters will be a force in the dance performance.
